Partnerships

YASP works in partnership with Rotherham, Doncaster and South Humber NHS Mental Health Trust (RDASH) to deliver the Early Intervention Service in Manchester.

This service was established in October 2007 to provide a pro-active response for young people experiencing first episode psychosis. Based on a recovery model and the teamwork approach the needs of young people and their families are at the centre of service delivery.

YASP provides the advice work for Early Intervention as well as opportunities to take part in volunteering and activities. Partnership enables single service provision with an emphasis on community identity, aiding people who use the service to maintain their recovery and develop support networks based on their understanding of their own needs.
